"Jesus spoke more about money, wealth, the problems associated with money (usually from having so much that you forget the source of wealth), how to give it (cheerfully) and save it (like the ants), and how to make more in your endeavors (by investing rather than hoarding) than He did about the existence of heaven or hell.
I think this is incredibly interesting of Jesus to camp on subject matter that reveals our true feelings about God's provision, His sovereignty, and the abilities He's gifted us with by which we make a living. So what does money represent for you? Security? Stability? The ability to provide for your family? Power? A hedge against hard times?
Whether you are barely getting by, just getting along, starting to get ahead, or getting rich, you can view your financial status in a way where getting is not the primary goal of your life. You can't take it with you, but you can do a lot of good with what you're entrusted while you're here."
